a little about me
Quite simply, I’m a dog person. I love them all ~ big and small, purebreds and who knows, young and old.
Over the years my family had all sorts of dogs, including fosters, and in my younger years I worked actively in rescue and I still assist with rescue whenever I can. I also showed dogs and spent my weekends travelling all over the countryside to compete. I loved the competition and challenge but mostly I just loved being around all the dogs.
I’m passionate about my breed, Australian Cattle Dogs, and am greatly involved in the betterment and preservation of my breed and in the education of owners. Of course, a big part of this education is nutrition.
As a supporter of natural health personally, and understanding the importance of proper nutrition for my own well-being, it was a natural progression for me to apply the same principles to feeding my little mates. I’ve been studying and researching nutrition for dogs and feeding my own dogs a natural diet for many years and it is my absolute passion.
My husband and I live in the hinterland of the beautiful Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia, and share our lives (and our lounge) with our two Australian Cattle Dogs.
